I have just received my first lot of Spectrum Noir pens from Crafters Companion and they are amazing. Couldn't wait to start colouring and therefore decided to do this card for the Monthly Challenge "Glitter and Glitz"
The products I have used are :-
6 x 6 card stock
Humphrey Stamp
Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Chipped Sapphire
Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Turquoise card
SWALK Cd 2 backing paper
Circle Nestabilities
Scalloped Circle Nestabilities
Paper Flowers from 3 birds pack - Crafters Companion
Mulberry yellow roses
Turquoise Ribbon
Stickles glitter glue - crystal
Spectrum Noir Pens #BG1, BG4, 38,45,37,35,73,178,171,68,65,64,
I have put little blobs of stickles on her dress to give it a glitzy look, the stamp has been coloured with the wonder Spectrum Noir pens. I have also put stickles glue around the edges of the turquoise card where it abuts the yellow backing paper. The blue flowers were coloured by using Spectrum Noir Pen #65 and then adding the mulberry roses with a little collall gel. I have also put some stickles on the yellow roses so that they twinkle ! The ribbon was one I had in my crafty stash, which just matched a treat. The edges of the circle were then distressed with chipped sapphire Tim Holtz Ink

More Cards "One for the Boys"
Cards for men always seem to be far more difficult to design. I myself find it hard to find embellishments to add, these two cards are again being entered into the Crafters Companion July monthly challenge.
Entry 2 is a sideways easel card, 6"x6" with various layers of matting and layering, I have used my Cuttlebug and some Spellbinders Nesterbilities, the embellishments are card candy spots. This is the first time I have made one of these sideways cards.
Entry 3 is a gate fold card with from a 6"x6" square card, again various matting and layering and also this time I have used one of my Cuttlebug and one of the Embossing folders
Entry 4 is again a 6"x6" card using one of my SWALK volume 2 "Best Dad" stamp from Crafters Companion and this has been coloured with my Watercolour pencils,

"One for the Boys"
This is the card my 8 year old had to "help"! me make for his Grandfathers Birthday last weekend.
I don't know if help was the actual word I would use, there was so much collall glue on the work surface it's a small wonder the card wasn't stuck therefore for good!

Thank You Card.
Thought I would share with you the card I made for a Teacher at my son's school. He has had a difficult time adjusting to Secondary School from Primary. His Primary school only had 134 children in total and his Secondary school has over 1100. We have had the help of wonder teacher during this time and therefore we wanted to show our appreciation for all the time she had spent with our son, so we sent her a bouquet of flowers and I made a card.
I can see a pattern starting here, I do adore my MS punch around the page punch, think I may have to invest in a different design soon.

Please accept my apologies
Many thanks to all those who have left me comments since I started this blog. I have been by the touched by your kind words about my creations. I didn't realise that I could thank people for their kind words, so now I know I just click on your names and it takes me directly to your blogs I will be reciprocating.

My New CD "Times Gone By"
I couldn't wait for my new CD to arrive and as usual the people at Crafters Companion we very quick with the delivery, Ordered, one day (early morning) and arrive the next day.
Here are some of the cards I have made already. Just love using this CD "Times Gone By" one of Joanna Sheen's Cds all the images are very crisp and clear. Someone recommended to me to try and use Matte Photo Paper, if you haven't tried it, you must, it's brilliant. I still love the using Gloss Photo Paper as I also love the way the picutres shine.
